The Mascot of Nintendo is slowly becoming a sentient AI capable of learning, independent thought and self control.The University of Tübingen in Germany created a video showing Mario in action titled ‘Mario Lives! An Adaptive Learning AI Approach for Generating a Living and Conversing Mario Agent.’

Now the Mario AI is aware of the world he resides and can answer simple questions, perform tasks and learns based on his observations.

The AI is capable of feeling happiness, hunger and curiosity in the world he resides in.
