The Alvin Lee reissue series that started in late 2014 is continuing with the release of three more albums from the guitarist's catalog.

Arriving several months after remastered versions of 1973's On the Road to Freedom, 1974's In Flight and 1980's Free Fall, the second batch of reissues — which are all in stores now, and available in CD and digital formats — includes 1978's Rocket Fuel, 1985's Detroit Diesel and 1995's concert set Live in Vienna.

Offering glimpses of three different stages during Lee's post-Ten Years After recording career, these albums include commercial highlights (Rocket Fuel peaked at No. 115 on the Billboard albums chart) as well as artistic ones (Detroit Diesel features a guest appearance from George Harrison), while Live in Vienna offers an overview of solo favorites and Ten Years After songs along with a handful of covers.

As Lee's official Twitter account notes, these latest reissues come roughly two years after Lee's passing on March 6, 2013, the unfortunate result of what was deemed "complications following a routine surgical procedure." As with much of his late-period output, the remastered titles arrive courtesy of Lee's Rainman label, through which he continued to release new studio albums such as 2007's Saguitar and 2012's Still on the Road to Freedom.

In addition to the second batch of reissues, Lee's estate is also working with Digital White Label to offer fans subscription-based access to a number of items from the archives, including photos, audio clips, previously unreleased songs and documentary footage.
