American Idol Contestant is the Son of the Country Star Jolie Edwards of 'Jolie and The Wanted'

Last night I watched the Omaha-American Idol Auditions and I am predicting that this young man will be one of the finalists at the end of the season. Quaid Edwards kicked off the episode of the American Idol Omaha auditions.

His mother is country singer Jolie Edwards of Jolie & The Wanted, who performed alongside Keith Urban.

"I'm as green as they come," he told the panel, with Harry Connick, Jr. responding, "I happen to like that shade of green."

Quaid auditioned with a performance of "A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke.

Possibly the best audition of the night.
