American’s Are Dropping Cable and Satellite TV

We love our televisions don't we? With my current satellite subscription I get over 250 channels of "entertainment". But when the economy is in the toilet, Americans start cutting certain luxuries to save money. Cable and satellite is often the first to get cut. I found this old public service announcement from the 1970's when an anti-cable initiative was in full swing warning viewers about a "MONSTER" called cable!

Is cable or satellite the first thing you cut to save money or do you find other places to save money first?
