Ava DuVernay Consulted on a Very Important ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Scene
Star Wars: The Force Awakens underwent a bunch of reshoots, as is the norm for blockbusters these days, and while, at the time, those reshoots were mostly kept a mystery, now some news has come out about one key scene in particular. Apparently J.J. Abrams and Ava DuVernay are good friends (who knew??) and frequently trade footage and screeners back and forth to one another to get some notes and suggestions. And one very important scene in The Force Awakens probably would not have been as cool without DuVernay’s guiding hand.
‘Get Out’ Trailer: Jordan Peele’s Horror Satire Finally Sees the Light of Day
After it was announced that Comedy Central’s Key & Peele was coming to an end, the world wondered, what would these two get up to next? Their first feature Keanu, a comedic John Wick parody about a kitten that gets catnapped by gangsters, was more or less just okay, more a feature-length comedy sketch that ran on too long, rather than an actual movie. Here’s the Impeccably-Timed New Trailer for Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard’s ‘Allied’
Brangelina is no more, love is dead, and oh, by the way, here’s the first trailer for a new movie starring Brad Pitt. Paramount no doubt figured they might as well take advantage of his name trending on Twitter and release the trailer for Allied. Or the trailer release was scheduled for today all along, in which case it would be quite a coincidence.

Hackers apparently collected her info and photos in an iCloud before moving them over to her site justleslie.com. The website is down and a GoDaddy holding page has replaced it for now.
John Krasinski Blames Chris Hemsworth’s Bod of Thunder for His Failed Captain America Audition
The Marvel Cinematic Universe, now in its eighth year, has been known to kickstart a lot of otherwise unknown actors’ careers, and give some their big break while rebooting others’ careers. While Robert Downey Jr. definitely had the biggest name at the start, it wasn’t easy for Jon Favreau to convince the Marvel execs that he was right for Tony Stark, but we’re all so glad he did. Chris Evans’ only other blockbuster credit was as the Human Torch in Fox’s Fantastic Four (2005) and its ill-fated sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), but his chiseled jawline soon landed him the title role in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger.
