I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people. I've done almost every job in the business and now I have the honor of working at this station! I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly. Dillon could be the next me. He LOVES being on the radio. Most days, I work from home and do my show with a portable studio that was built for me since I am now semi-retired (at the ripe old age of 34). So, if you hear the dishwasher, the washing machine or the sounds of a 9 year old with his Lego, it's all good!

Spiders in Oklahoma and How I Almost Died
Spiders. I am not very good with spiders. It probably goes back to my early childhood. I had long and wild hair that I hated to brush. My head looked like a brown mop was attached to it most of the summer. One day, when I was around 8, my brother and I were climbing trees. It was early spring and the buds on the trees were just sprouting.
That was when a small, black spider jumped from a lim
