I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people. I've done almost every job in the business and now I have the honor of working at this station! I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly. Dillon could be the next me. He LOVES being on the radio. Most days, I work from home and do my show with a portable studio that was built for me since I am now semi-retired (at the ripe old age of 34). So, if you hear the dishwasher, the washing machine or the sounds of a 9 year old with his Lego, it's all good!

How To Negotiate at Lawton’s Largest Garage, Antiques and Collectible Sale
Negotiation is a fine art and one many of us either relish or dread. I'm firmly in the latter camp and would rather give you $2 than haggle down to $1.75. I, however, have learned some wonderful negotiation skills from my sweet husband who is THE MASTER at the good deal.

5 Ways To Stay Positive
Last night, our dog Kramer very literally ate our kid's homework. Dillon has been working on his science project for weeks. Yesterday was the day he was supposed to put all the planning into action. He put food in baggies and the baggies in a box and he was going to take them to school to watch them and track their moldy progress for the next month.
He didn't ...
Where to Live in Oklahoma to Make the Most Money
Yesterday I was obsessed about the health of Oklahoma. Kingfisher County (population about 15k) is the healthiest county in our state. Of the 77, Comanche County was not in the top 20 . . .or 30 . . or 40 . . . but was in the 50's.
That got me thinking about the relationship between money and health. So, I went diving into a few more statistics.

The U.S. Geological Society told us last week they are going to release a new hazard map to show how much danger we are in from ground shaking. After 5 minutes of detective work, I'm totally freaked out.
