I love radio, but I love it because it keeps me connected to people. I've done almost every job in the business and now I have the honor of working at this station! I am married to a wonderful (now) retired MSgt in the Air Force. The Darin makes regular appearances on my show, but he usually refuses to talk, so I have to tell all his stories for him. Dillon is my stepson and his stories are also familiar to those that listen regularly. Dillon could be the next me. He LOVES being on the radio. Most days, I work from home and do my show with a portable studio that was built for me since I am now semi-retired (at the ripe old age of 34). So, if you hear the dishwasher, the washing machine or the sounds of a 9 year old with his Lego, it's all good!

Those LITTLE Gifts Mean a LOT: Teachers, Postal Workers & More
We always talk about the little gifts around the holidays. To whom do you give them and how much should they be worth? The tradition of giving a teacher a gift is largely outdated, but if your child has a special relationship with a teacher, a card is certainly acceptable. There are some people, though, who still need to know you care. Here is a list from Good Housekeeping that will break down
The $100 Million TRAVESTY That is Grumpy Cat
I rarely rant in a public forum. I don't have the skill for it that Nancy possesses. She can rant and still seem lovable and likeable. I can't do that. It's hard to be loved and liked when I'm TRYING to be nice. Exposing my snarky side will probably backfire. But, I can stay silent no longer. . .
Are You Buying Gifts for Your Pets This Christmas?
We don't romanticize our pets much. Kramer is our dog, Yoda is the cat and they both have unique personalities and unique relationships with each HUMAN member of our family.
They are animals, yet, both our pets will have presents under the tree this holiday.
The Real Tree Experience in Oklahoma
We don't often think of Oklahoma having a great climate for growing Christmas Trees, but there is a whole association dedicated to growers of live trees to adorn your holiday home this season.

If you get a call today from a friend who is suddenly single, you won't be alone.

Books for Kids: Santa’s Secret Weapon
If you look on any best-selling toy list this year, you'll find 42 items from the movie FROZEN and they, like most other gifts, will do something amazing like make noise, connect with other things in your house, suck the imagination out of every member of your home.
Butterball Talk Line is Now Open! Talk Turkey!
It's that time again. Time to under cook that turkey, time to fill your guests with salmonella or other nasty things.
Snopes Busts the 25 Biggest Urban Legends – #1 is Right Here in Oklahoma
One of my favorite websites of all time is www.snopes.com. It's a website that is totally dedicated to making sure you aren't stupid and gullible to the point of being embarassed. They have saved me more than once when I saw something so spectacular on Facebook and, before I sent it to my hordes of friends, checked the website for veracity.
America’s Favorite Team? Not the Cowboys Anymore!
Since 2007, Dallas has dominated the Harris Poll to find America's favorite football team. This year, despite the success the 'boys have had, they're not on top when asked about favorites. In fact, they have dropped to 4th.
Frustration-Free Packaging: Amazon’s Greatest Idea EVER
I start my shopping early. I mean REALLY early. I bought my first Christmas present around July of this year and hope to have everything done by late October. I put things in the closet and on the big day, we gather around the tree. Each one of us is equipped with a trash bag and an box cutter. The trash bag is for the . . .um. . .trash. The box cutter is to actually get INTO the present aft
