Angelcare Monitors Inc. is voluntarily recalling 600,000 baby monitors after two infants died from strangulation. Two other babies became entangled in the company's monitor cords but did not die. The monitors have a cord connected to a sensor pad that goes under the crib mattress; this cord can be pulled into the crib with the baby and pose a strangulation risk.

The affected products are Angelcare Movement and Sound Monitors With Sensor Pads, including those with model numbers AC1100, AC201, AC300, AC401 AC601, and 49255. Look for the model number on the back of the monitor. If you have this product, stop using it immediately and contact Angelcare for a repair kit.
