The Black Crowes have announced that they will end a three-year hiatus by reuniting for a 2013 tour of the United Kingdom and the United States.

The 26-date trek will kick off on March 24th in Manchester, England and is currently scheduled through May 4 in New Orleans. This marks the end of the second three-year hiatus in the band's career; they previously split up in 2002 only to reunite in 2005. The Crowes' lineup for these dates has not been confirmed, and there is no word if the group will record or release any new music to accompany this tour.

When the band decided to take another break in 2010 following their 20th anniversary tour, lead singer Chris Robinson assured Billboard it wasn't because of any interpersonal problems: "The real story is it's been five solid years of touring and three records and DVDs, and it's more about having a little bit of space and taking a breath away from the thing."
