"Some of you have waited your whole lives to see the Rolling Stones," quipped Brad Paisley during his opening set before the band's stop in Nashville last night. "You're gonna have to sit through me first."

Paisley made it easy on the crowd by making the most of the occasion, lining up a pair of special guests for his portion of the show: fellow country superstar Carrie Underwood, who joined him for "Remind Me," and guitar legend Joe Walsh, who came out onstage to collaborate on his hit "Life's Been Good" as well as Paisley's 2005 single "Alcohol."

"We’ve got so many country artists here tonight," joked Stones singer Mick Jagger once the Stones started their set. "When I went to the VIP room backstage, wow, I’ve never seen so much heartbreak!" As you can see in the fan-shot video above, Paisley also returned to the stage later in the show: as he had during a 2013 concert, he joined the band for "Dead Flowers."

"We should come here more often," mused guitarist Keith Richards. "It’s a great town."

The Stones' next stop on their summer Zip Code Tour is scheduled for June 20 in Pittsburgh, but as we've seen recently, you never know when the band might show up for a surprise gig at a venue off the official itinerary. Check out the complete Nashville set list below.
