Three years ago, Bruce Springsteen had his very own special exhibit on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now a new venture is planning to tell the Boss’ story using similar artifacts in the virtual realm.

Rolling Stone reports that Blindedbythelight.com is due to launch on June 4 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the release of ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ The site bills itself as an online Springsteen museum replete with a collection of 300 different items affiliated the man himself. The organization’s Facebook page already has a number of items posted from the collection that range from records, to handwritten lyrics, Springsteen first grade report card and passport and other assorted memorabilia.

To help drive traffic, the museum’s founder Michael Crane plans on hosting contests every six months where participants can win a variety of different and rare prizes. The first item up for grabs is an example of original album artwork for ‘Live/1975-85’ autographed by the New Jersey icon.

For those hoping to own a piece of Springsteen history themselves, it would be best advised to wait. Crane has already teased the singer’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air where he wrote the rock anthem ‘Born to Run’ as up for grabs in one of these contests down the line.
