The MacArthur Highlanders headed into Friday night's first round playoff game as the top ranked team in Division 5A in Oklahoma high school football, and they did absolutely nothing to tarnish that ranking, easily handling the Guthrie Blue Jays 50-0 in front of a mostly partisan crown at Cameron Stadium.
The number one Highlanders would take there undefeated season on the road to take on the tenth ranked Del City Eagles at Kalsu stadium last Friday night.
Most who have followed and anticipated this game for any length of time, and may have even circled it on the calendar, found one incredible finish that one won't forget any time soon. The Big Mac Attack hit the road Friday night for a road test to Duncan to take on a old rival in the Demons. The Highlanders wasted no time with a run and pass attack to take the early advantage on the score board and really never looked back and extended the undefeated season to now 6-0 and 3-0 in the district with a impressive 31-13 win at Halliburton stadium.
Deja' Vu #2! Here we go again, it was one year ago that the Highlanders came away with an exciting 2 point win at Hightower stadium against the Altus Bulldogs. Both teams came into this years matchup undefeated at 4-0 and both ranked in the top 10.
