Did ‘Time’ Magazine Intentionally Give the Pope Devil Horns?

Did the recent international issue of "Time" with the Pope on the cover accidentally make it look like he had devil horns?  I saw that headline and thought "Oh BROTHER!" Then I clicked on the link to the story and you won't believe what I found. I looked at the first photo and thought it was just a mistake but, they've accidentally done it to Bill Gates, Margaret Thatcher, and Putin too. But, look closer...was it an accident? The size of the title of the magazine is different on each cover!
