Did You Miss The Lesser Known Lawton Pre-Fireworks ‘Fire’ Show

As wet as it has been, the grass was no match for fire when the Lawton fireworks show setup crane caught ablaze in what was dubbed, the 'pre-fireworks show.'

Luckily, LFD was already stationed at Elmer Thomas Park on Saturday, and made quick work of what could have been a very bad thing. And if this incident affected the show, you sure couldn't tell. Everything appeared to happen that evening as planned... well, except for the rain delay... but that didn't phase anyone as well.
