Do you Take a Long Shower? You Might Just Be Showering Your Life Away

You never realized it -  but you're showering your life away. 

A new survey found the average man showers for nine minutes, and the average woman showers for nine-and-a-half minutes. And both shower an average of eight times per week.

So, over the course of the year, that means men spend 3,744 minutes in the shower, That's 62.4 hours, or more than two-and-a-half full days. Now women spend 3,952 minutes in the shower. That's 65.9 hours, or just about three full days. Doing the quick math - that means over the 60-or-so years of your adult life, you spend around half a YEAR in the shower.

We also spend time arguing with our kids and significant others over how much time they spend in the shower. 20% of men and 15% of women say they regularly get in fights over it. Usually because all of the hot water gets used - leaving none for the rest of us.
