It is that time of year! The smell and sounds of Christmas have arrived in Duncan. The annual Christmas tree sale is underway for the Duncan Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis Member Dina Atnip and Duncan High School Key Club Member Molly Pickard look at the assortment of trees on the lot.

This year the tree lot has a new location. They are being sold at Kiddieland in Fuqua Park at corner of US Highway 81 and Beech Street  in Duncan. This is the first time in many years that it has not been in Elk Plaza. The Kiwanis and Key Club members from Duncan High School and Empire School will be assisting with the sale.

The lot which open yesterday will be selling trees through December 15th. Hours are Monday to Friday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p. m.

They have a large assortment of trees ranging from $20 to $95.  New this year, tree stands are available for $3.00, tree life for $1.50 per package and a tree disposal bag for $1.00.

All proceeds will benefit the youth programs in Duncan and will also provide scholarships to students that attend Duncan and Empire.
