Flag Day Ceremony Disposing of Unserviceable Flags

This Thursday, The American Legion Post 29,605 SW 11th Street, along with Townsquare Media invite you to celebrate Flag day with a special ceremony to dispose of Unserviceable Flags.  This dignified and solemn occasion will commence at 6pm then The Post Commander Claude Bates, Jr. will lead the American Legion membership and attending community members in the Pledge of Allegiance at 7pm.  This event is free and open to the public.  The post will also be serving Hamburgers and hot dogs with drinks for donations beginningat 5pm. ** if you have an unserviceable flag in need of disposal, contact the American legion at 353-5015 or email AmericanLegionLawton @gmail.com.
