Calling all history buffs, The Fort Sill Field Artillery Museum will present a hands-on program about on the gear of an American Revolution soldier on Saturday, March 22.

The demonstrations will last 30-45 minutes and there are three scheduled throughout the day on Saturday. The times of start will be 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

During these times visitors will get to view the uniform, equipment and weapons of one of the most pivotal points of American history and include a live-fire demonstration of the flintlock pistol. Visitors are encouraged to handle the items to step into the life of a late 1700s American soldier.

The program is free and open to the public. For directions and more information call 580.442.1819 or visit The Fort Sill Field Artillery Museum website under the Outreach tab for more details.
