Jennifer Lopez shares her own #MeToo story in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar.

In an interview excerpt published by Entertainment Tonight, the April cover star reveals that during an audition early in her film career, a male filmmaker asked her to remove her shirt and show him her breasts.

"I haven’t been abused in the way some women have. But have I been told by a director to take off my shirt and show my boobs? Yes, I have," Lopez recalls, adding, "But did I do it? No, I did not."

The singer-actress also shares that she was initially frightened to speak up about the sexual harassment, though she ultimately chose to address it.

"When I did speak up, I was terrified," she admits. "I remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, ‘What did I do? This man is hiring me!’ It was one of my first movies."

Fortunately, Jenny From the Block was able to find strength in her New York roots.

"In my mind I knew the behavior wasn’t right. It could have gone either way for me. But I think ultimately the Bronx in me was like, ‘Nah, we’re not having it.’"
