Frankly, we are a little surprised it took this long: One of America's favorite pastimes and perhaps America's most merchandise-focused band have joined forces.

Kiss is teaming up with Major League Baseball to create a series of t-shirts that combine the cover art from 1975's 'Dressed To Kill' with the colors and logos of a host of teams. Pictured above are the designs for the 2013 World Series champion Boston Red Sox, as well as the National League titleholding St. Louis Cardinals.

Although only nine clubs are included in an initial run of shirts available for order now, Kiss' Facebook page promises more designs. So, if you don't happen to see your team among those now available, fear not. They should available at a future date.

Kiss is currently on an extensive North American tour with Def Leppard, having kicked off their jaunt with a slew of set list surprises a few weeks back.

In addition to the recently released '40' compilation and the upcoming 'Kissteria' box set, AMC will debut the Kiss football-related reality show '4th and Loud' on Aug. 5. The show chronicles the inaugural season of the L.A. Kiss Arena Football League team.
