David Faustino, who starred as Bud Bundy on the irreverent 90's Fox comedy series “Married… with Children”, recently reunited with former co-star Christina Applegate at the premiere of her new film “Vacation”. The actor told E! Entertainment TV that he’s working on a spinoff to the popular series.

Faustino says that the future of the project is "in the hands of Sony" who has some legal issues to work out with Fox before the updated series can proceed.

The series about the Chicago based Bundy family, also starred Ed O’Neill as the family patriarch Al Bundy, a shoe salesman and local high school football "legend" and Katey Sagal as his daunting wife Peg. The show built a loyal fan base during its 11 season run, though never quite topping the ratings. The show’s run on the then fledgeling Fox Network lasted from 1987 to 1997.

According to Faustino, all of the former cast members are up for returning to play some part in a possible reboot of the series. “The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it,” Faustino said. “The idea would be a pilot for a spinoff.”
