NASCAR owner Rick Hendrick has been involved in a Monday evening plane crash in Key West, Florida. There were no reports of serious injuries to the 4 people on the craft and the NTSB has been called in to investigate. The pilots of the Gulfstream G-150 reported that the brakes had failed on the airplane and it veered off the runway which was then closed for a period of time.

This is not the first time Mr. Hendrick has ha bush with a airplane crash. In 2004 a plane crash took the lives of 10 people including his brother, a son, two nieces and other members of the Hendrick Motorsports organization. Rick and his wife Linda were released from a hospital in Key West and were able to return this morning to Charlotte, North Carolina.
