New Guinness World Record For Paper Airplane Toss- Steve Kelly in his Own Words

I think we all remember back to our childhood when we tossed paper airplanes and tried to make them fly as far as we could and recently this was taken to extremes and and it ended in a new world record.

We all know the airplanes are kept in hangars and without a doubt are meant to be flown outdoors, but former Quarterback Joe Ayoob showed just the right touch recently as he stepped into a hanger in California and let his paper airplane set sail into the air and set a world distance record with a flight that never left its hangar at McClellan Air Force Base in Northern California. Ayoob, tossed a paper airplane that soared a remarkable 226 feet, 10 inches as it looked like it would never stop soring. As of now it is still being verified by Guinness World Records, if verified by Guinness, Ayoob's toss will shatter the existing indoor record of 207 feet, 4 inches, set by Stephen Kreiger of Bellvue, Washington in 2003 when Kreiger was just 15.

Ayoob, definitely had the arm to send the aircraft in the air and travel the distance due to the fact use to be a star at the University of California at Berkeley, after the flight was over Ayoob was quick to credit John Collins who designed the aircraft that took flight and set the potential world record. I am guessing some people have way too much time on their hands to sit around and design paper airplanes, but I am think I may need to change professions.
