News Anchor Accidentally Reveals He May Love Crystal Meth
The first step toward treating addiction is admitting you have a problem.
That's the old adage, anyway, and one that John Knicely, a veteran anchor with WOWT, in Omaha, Neb., should keep in mind.
Knicely had an unfortunate slip of the tongue recently while talking about the possibility of Crystal Pepsi returning when, while reading viewer comments, he said, "Nothing will ever be as cool as crystal meth."
Hopefully, Knicely didn't need any help from any sort of substances in taking the edge off after his blunder.
We're sure Knicely took plenty of ribbing for his blunder, but it got us thinking how excited he'd be if New Coke ever resurfaced.
While there are no commercials for crystal meth (that we're aware of), there is this classic spot for Crystal Pepsi from 1993, which used Sammy Hagar-led Van Halen's popular "Right Now" to get people to buy in.
