Depending on where you're at it's not too far away and could easily be a quick daycation, staycation, or weekend getaway. From Lawton, Fort Sill it's about three and a half hours away leaving plenty of time for rest, relaxation, and of course swimming, inner-tubing, and getting out in the crystal clear blue water to cool off.

I've never had the opportunity to go so I'm thinking it would make the perfect destination for a daycation or family weekend getaway. Everything I've heard and seen about this place has been more than positive. Everyone I know who has gone has loved it and says it's an epic place that the entire family will really enjoy.

The main swimming area at Blue Hole Park looks amazing! You can wade or go all the way in. Not only that there are mini-rapids you can inner-tube and float down as well. It's a natural lazy river and in some places not so lazy from the looks of it. The water is said to be nice and cool, spring-like, clean, and radiant blue.

I'm looking forward to making the trip and experiencing it for myself. The Blue Hole Park is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. They officially open for the season the Saturday before Memorial Day Weekend and will remain open throughout Labor Day Weekend so there's plenty of time to check it out.
