Ever since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to learn how to play an instrument. The guitar was my favorite instrument of preference and the piano was my second choice. I remember asking my parents if I could take guitar lessons, but I was refused. Not sure if it was because they couldn't afford it, or they had a really low tolerance for "the noise" that would have rang out through the because of all the night and day practicing I would have done while I was learning to play. Either way, it was an opportunity I missed out on as a kid. This is now why learning to play an instrument is on my bucket list of things to do in the future.

To not repeat that same mistake twice, I decided that when my daughter told me she wanted to learn to play the guitar, I would go above and beyond to make it happen for her. I saw a sparkle in her eye when she spoke of her desire and I knew that I needed to find a place of instruction in safe environment that provided knowledgeable expertise and quality instruction.
