I have wanted a GoPro for a number of years, but never pulled the pin on one due to one minor detail. I never really do anything interesting. This scenario is perfectly played out in this short video pitching professional GoPro operators vs real life.

You would think that I could film hours and hours of epic stage footage at every concert in Oklahoma... Elk and bison POV sightings in the refuge... Hitting 130mph on US-62 just before you reach the Jackson County line... But no, that's not real life.

If I had a GoPro, it would most likely capture endless hours of me mowing the lawn. Washing the truck. Building kludge contraptions in the garage. Nothing at all interesting.

What would you do with a GoPro? Epic stuff, or would it sit on your dash waiting for that one-in-a-million shot to occur?
