Rita Ora might have have started June down one gig (so long, coveted X Factor seat), but the future's looking bright thanks to a brand new record deal.

Today (June 20), the "Poison" singer announced she's teamed up with the United Kingdom's Atlantic Records, an organization she's already praised for its loyalty. Considering her December 2015 fallout with the United States' Roc Nation — which she sued for impeding her career's progress — the good news couldn't have come at a better time.

"Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released," Ora said in a statement, adding she plans to release new music later this year. "I'm thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible."

Atlantic President Ben Cook reciprocated the sentiment, and said he's optimistic about the company's newest recruit.

"Rita is a rare talent and true global star," he said. "First and foremost she's a great singer who's hugely passionate about music...We look forward to getting in the studio with her and making an incredible album."

Ora, who's released only one full-length album — 2012's Ora — has had significant success in the United Kingdom, achieving No. 1 hits with "How We Do (Party)," "R.I.P." and "I Will Never Let You Down." She has yet to duplicate the formula stateside, though, and has only gone as high as No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100.
