As you can see, the ingredients are very common. Other than the olive oil, these spices can be substituted with just about anything.

First, preheat your oven to 415. Then rinse and drain your chickpeas.

After your peas are drained, dump them out on some paper towels. I used four to make sure I soaked up all the water.

After you’ve dumped your beans out, take another paper towel and rub it on the top of your beans to get them as dry as possible.

When they are pretty dry, pour your olive oil on and rub on your beans. You want to make sure they all have a nice coating. Then pop them in the oven for 30-40 minutes. I like mine crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (like French fries!). So 30 minutes is usually a good amount of time. However, it really depends on your oven.

Once you’ve got your beans where you want them, take them out and season with your favorite seasonings! Then scoop them into a bowl and enjoy! I LOVE to eat these while I’m sitting on the couch watching a movie!

If you want to do more with your beans, you can treat them like a hash. Throw a fried egg on top and serve them with some salt and peppered cherry tomatoes and Voila! You have dinner!
