The sex life of Rod Stewart is truly the stuff of legend that could make a grown man cry, even if, by his own admission, it was "sad." But recently he's been disclosing that, back in the day, he turned down some high-profile offers. In May, he said that he ran from the notorious Plaster Casters, and, in a new interview, he shot down Mick Jagger's request for group sex.

The suggestion took place at some point in the early-to-mid-'70s, when Stewart was dating model Dee Harrington. According to Stewart, Jagger suggested that they, along with Jagger's then-wife Bianca, all get together. But the Scottish singer bristled at the idea of a foursome that didn't involve golf.

“I’ve only done that sort of thing once in my life, with a couple of oriental girls, and it’s not my thing," he told the Radio Times. "I’m a romantic and like a one-on-one situation, candlelight and foreplay, all the old-fashioned things.”

Of course, Stewart and Jagger may not have shared a bed, but they have shared a guitarist in Ronnie Wood. Stewart also added that he is hoping that the end of the Rolling Stones' current tour will pave the way for the long-awaited reunion of the Faces.
