The fifth anniversary of Ronnie James Dio's untimely passing will be commemorated May 15-17 with a star-studded celebration of his life and music.

Events are scheduled to begin the evening of May 15 with a celebrity bowling tournament, set to be held from 7-11PM at the Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, Calif., hosted by That Metal Show's Eddie Trunk and featuring appearances by a long list of participants that includes present and former members of Foreigner, Guns N' Roses, Rage Against the Machine and Dio, as well as a silent auction. Tickets start at $50, and are now available for purchase.

The remembrances continue May 16 with a free memorial service to be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, where some of Dio's friends and peers are set to gather for a program featuring remarks and performances from Lita Ford, Vinny Appice, Great White and many more.

Finally, on May 17, there's the Ride for Ronnie motorcycle ride and barbecue, set to begin at 11AM in Glendale and continue at noon in Encino, where food and music are scheduled to go on until 5PM. The list of performers at the event includes Eddie Money, and between sets, attendees can participate in a raffle and a live auction as well as taking in a Condor Squadron fly-by conducted by seven vintage World War II airplanes. General admission for this event starts at $55.
