If you want to get better at math, you might want to first get zen.

Researchers in California had low-performing students practice Transcendental Meditation -- and then watched as those kids improved their math and English scores.

The meditating students improved in a big way, with 41 percent increasing at least one level in math over a year's time, compared to only 15 percent of the non-meditating group.

Teachers surveyed as part of the study said meditation also resulted in calmer, happier and less hyper students.

Do you do any meditating?  Does it help you with job?  Or maybe home life?  Do you find a certain time of day better to meditate (if you do)?
