Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe is currently facing scrutiny and criticism for hosting a 'live pigeon shooting' event he held as a fundraiser for his re-election from animal rights activist at the Quartz Mountain Lodge.

Illinois-based Showing Animals Respect and Kindness sent an undercover reporter to document the event showing Inhofe and his supporters participating in the sport.

Oklahoma Department of Wildlife has stated that live pigeon shooting is legal, but not common in the state.
