Saturday afternoon, the phone...well, it didn't ring, it made that bell noise that I receive when I have a text message.  Some friends from Lawton wanted to go to a movie at the Liberty Theatre in Carnegie.  They wanted to go see True Grit and were driving all the way out here and wanted us to join them.

If you have never been to the Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, you are missing an experience.  It is the longest running, I correct myself, the oldest, continually operated movie theatre in the state of Oklahoma.  They show first run movies and now they even have a 3D screen!  David and I try to make it to a movie at least once a month.  We see friends and family from all over in the lobby as we all stand in line before the movie to get our fill of their famous "show dogs".  People come from miles around to watch a movie and eat their show dogs.

If you think you might just want to stop by and order some show dogs to go?  Well, you're going to have to wait until all the movie goers have been served first.  That's the rule!

Oh, and don't ask for ketchup on your hot dog!  I learned my lesson on that one.  I was told "only commies and Yankees eat ketchup on their hot dogs".  I've learned to enjoy the mustard.
