‘Star Wars Rebels’ Relives Ahsoka and Anakin’s Past Before the Big Duel

Star Wars Rebels has more than distinguished itself from its Clone Wars predecessor, though the Season 2 introduction of Ahsoka Tano guaranteed we’d see the erstwhile “Snips” face off against her former master. That day is soon upon us, but in the meantime, relive their loving mentor-padawan relationship in a new retrospect.

Disney released a new teaser video combining the likes of both Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, reaching back from Kanan and Ezra’s early encounter with Darth Vader, to Ahsoka’s recent realization that the Rebellion’s most powerful enemy and her former master are one and the same.

Next Wednesday’s outing may continue with “The Mystery of Chopper Base,” though we likely have to wait until two-part March 30 finale “Twilight of the Apprentice” to finally see Ahsoka and Anakin Darth Vader face off.
