The Stephens County Relay for Life has wrapped their annual walk to fight cancer. 

The relay which was started Friday evening raised over $102,000. The event held at Halliburton Stadium had several hundred people on hand to walk for the cause. Many were part of the 31 groups that had set up camp inside the stadium.

Highlights of the event were the survivor lap. This year there were 99 survivors that walked or had assistance walking the lap. and then the Luminaria Ceremony where survivors are named one by one.

"The fight is far from over" according to Ronda Rakes. She was the chairwoman for his years relay.  Everyone has the same goal in mind - wiping this dreaded disease off the face of the earth forever.
