The Lawton Armed Forces Day parade is one of the longest-running and biggest Armed Forces parades in the country. It's been an annual tradition for over 50 years and counting.

The 2022 annual Lawton, Fort Sill Armed Forces Day parade returns this Saturday, May 21st (05-21-22) starting at 10:00-am. It's presented by the Lawton, Fort SIll Chamber of Commerce along with the Lawton, Fort Sill Convention & Visitors Bureau.

If you're a local or area business the Lawton, Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce wants to hear from you. This will help the city determine the best possible response to assist local and area businesses going forward.

The Lawton, Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce notified it's members today that the city of Lawton is requesting that all local and area businesses help with the new mask ordinance as much as possible. They aren't asking businesses to enforce the order, just assist with informing the public that the order is in place and that it needs to be followed. This along with signage at all entryways that a face mask is required.

The Lawton-Fort Sill Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with the City of Lawton, is pleased to announce almost 500 new jobs coming to Lawton, Oklahoma.

Lawtonians are revving up for the first 3Mile Thursday tour through downtown Lawton. Beginning on August 1st, this FREE event will be held the first Thursday of each month. The tour will be led by Chief Smith and many merchants will be offering discounts and specials to 3Mile Thursday participants who show their registration wristbands.
