The Top 5 Ridiculous Reality Shows We Wish Would Go Away! [VIDEO]

What do you get when you combine GTL, screaming dance teachers, an over-the-top Armenian family, toddlers with fake tans/hair/teeth, and teenagers who make looking pregnant better than senior prom? No, not the circus, but might as well be. They are the top 5 ridiculous reality shows that we wish would go away.Let’s start with a house full of tanned ‘oompa loompa’s’, East Coast accents, and people of Wal-Mart fashion taste fondly referred to as MTV’s Jersey Shore. Perhaps it is the raw, unscripted interactions of the characters, or the constant in your face footage that made your college spring break look like church camp. Whatever it is, this show appears to have staying power and MTV is taking that to the bank.

‘Dance Moms,’ ‘Toddlers and Tiaras,’ and ‘16 and Pregnant' seem too closely related to talk about them separately. In a nutshell, Toddlers and Tiaras took their crazy pageant parents, who dressed their children up like a pretty woman and taught them to dance. Cue a loud-mouthed, know-it-all dance teacher and you’ve got Dance Moms. If they keep this up, those toddlers are going to end up 16 and Pregnant taking their crowns directly to an episode of COPS.

Last and certainly not least, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ in “Kalifornia”, New York City, and Miami. Where do we even start with this debacle? Exactly, how does one get famous for being married for 72 days? It is as if they woke up one day with perfect makeup, hair extensions, a couple clothing stores, a bunch of endorsement contracts and a TV show. Apparently, that’s Armenian for famous. Seems to be the case for the K!, I mean, E! Network’s most popular train wreck since Hugh Hefner’s Girls Next door moved out of the neighborhood.

Whatever your guilty 'reality' pleasure is on TV, there are just some shows that need an Intervention. In the end, these shows gain popularity because they make our real life issues look a little less ridiculous. Remember, if you keep watching, they will keep the cameras rolling.
