The thought of it sends chills down the spines of Beatle-ographers everywhere; and I'm sure Mötley Crüe purists weren't jumping at the thought either. Just the thought of mashing “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Girls, Girls, Girls” together should not work, any how, any way.  But somehow, it does, leaving one wondering why someone didn’t come up with it sooner.

I am the first to admit that the thought of the crisp opening note from “A Hard Day’s Night” immediately followed by the revving of motorcycles, did not make me do back-flips, but John Lennon’s vocals have been paired so seamlessly with the “Girls” melody that you forget that it was John, Paul, George and Ringo in the studio, not John, Mick, Nikki and Tommy.
