This is Athena, a 1-2 year old female cattle dog who was found in the middle of nowhere with nobody to help her until some rescuers came to her aid. This girl is a delight and very laid back so we think she would be a great addition to virtually any family.

Athena is good on a leash, good with other dogs, cats and children; how could it get any better. Though we cannot guarantee house training, we can tell you she keeps her kennel neat and tidy. Hopefully a good schedule and lots of outside time will keep her on track.

This handsome young dog is a Pit Bull Terrier mix we call Rocky! He came to us as a county stray and is about 6 months old. Rocky is pretty laid back as well; being good with other dogs and children who can be as gentle with him as he is with them. Rocky does need to find a home where cats are non existent because he loves to chase and we don't want this boy in trouble.

Everyone say hi to Maverick, a male, Staffordshire Terrier/Chow Mix, who is approximately 5 months old. Maverick is a little shy and standoffish when you first meet him, so he needs a little coaxing to come out of his shell, but he's a sweetheart after that. He loves to chase cats, so if you have cats this boy is not the one for you!

However he loves to play with other dogs. He will go into a crate if you lead him in. He is potty trained, and will be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped once he is released off of medical hold for an upper respiratory infection. He is currently on medical hold.

This is Daisy, a sweet, active and happy Pit girl.  She loves attention and giving lots of kisses. She knows her basic commands and is house and kennel trained. She will gets along with other dogs after proper introductions but will push and trample smaller dogs although she does redirect quite well.

Daisy is working on not jumping as she gets so excited she can knock down small children but other than that she is excellent with kids. Daisy does have food and treat aggression so must be fed and given treats separately. She also is a digger so will need work on that. Daisy really is a great girl.

She comes fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped.  The rescue pays for activation and up to one year of monitoring of the chip.  She also comes with  30 days of free veterinarian insurance.  She is heart worm negative and has been on monthly heart worm preventative. This little female lab/mix pup was picked up in Carnegie on Friday. She is about 6 months old. She is a mixture of blonde and very light blond. She has ears that are reminiscent of a hound dog or golden retriever.

My name is Farrah and I am a Labrador Mix. I am two years old and since the days and nights are very long and lonely in a shelter I dream day and night of a family that would like to have around forever.

Cache Animal Control would like to introduce you to this handsome male black, who is believed to be a corgi mix. this good lookin' guy is very friendly and playful, and is still pretty young. He has been with us for around 2 weeks, and we would love to find him his furr-ever home.

This is Juliette, a 4-5 year old, spayed female. Juliette has also been through a formal obedience program. Juliette is good with people and kids as well as other dogs. She has not been around cats, so again, introduce them with caution. Juliette is shy at first; it will probably take her a few days to a week to warm up to new home, (Which is not unusual) but once she has, she is a very loving, sweet, and docile companion.

Juliett's DNA is also a mystery; I would venture a guess towards Border Collie and perhaps Great Pyrenees. We also have her full brother, who is much larger and shows some Pyrenees traits. This is Jack, he is a 4-5 yr old neutered male, that has been through a formal obedience program and has been housebroken. His DNA is varied with some Lab/Walker hound and a few other strands. He gets along well with people, kids, and other dogs. I am not sure about cats; I would think he would be OK, but I would introduce cats cautiously.

Drake is an adorable 7 year old boxer  looking for a chance at another home. Housebroken, outgoing, super sweet with people, great with other dogs but no alpha dogs because he gets bullied and okay with cats.

He also will need a family with older children, little kids he has been with before would climb on him and he didn't care for that very much.  He has done well in our play group especially with smaller dogs. He loves to cuddle and he won't pass up a treat!
