UPDATE - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has stated that none of their troopers were involved in any of the crashes or the chase.

The two officers that died were a member a Burns Flat Police Department and the other was a deputy of the Washita County Sheriff's Office

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) officer as well as another lawmen died in a car crash near Dill City, OK in Washita County.

The Highway Patrol officer attempted to pull over a suspect south of Dill City when the suspect took off.

At some point during the chase the suspect crashed his vehicle and the OHP officer crashed into another patrol vehicle.

OHP officials have stated and told KFOR that these were two separate accidents.

Law enforcement agencies across the state are offering their condolences to the victims' families.
