Veterans Day 2011 – Freedom Isn’t Free [VIDEO]

Today is Veterans Day 2011. We set aside this day every year to honor those men and women who have donned the uniform of choice and protected our country. This year as in the past there will be gatherings from sea to shining sea, speeches and moments of reflection. I will be doing my part. I look forward to spending part of my Veterans Day meeting up with my Shipmates and reflecting on our heritage and look at the military of today and think of how they will be in our shoes in years to come.

To everyone that ever donned a uniform in the defense of the freedoms of the greatest nation in the world, you are the the epitome of heroism. My deepest thanks and gratitude go out to those who have served, who are serving & to those who paid the ultimate price for the liberty we enjoy. Thank you and God bless you.
