Winter Craft Items From Pinterest
Since the weather on Sunday was so cold I sat in my sock monkey jammies all day and browsed Pinterest. I found some really fun craft items and would like to share them with you.
When I saw this picture memories came rushing back from the time I was a Girl Scout. We made crosses with burnt matches. Of course we were under adult supervision but basically you cut out the shape you want to create from some hard cardboard (like a box) and using Elmer’s Glue begin gluing burnt matches onto the form. This star is also pretty and would make a good holiday decoration. Just remember – adult supervision is required.
How cute are these? You could so totally cheat like I would. Buy those little mini chocolate cupcake bites, stick a strawberry on top and frost them. If you are really creative (not like me) here is a link to 41 Creative Christmas Cupcakes.
How adorable are these? Make a few dozen and invite all your friends over for hot chocolate. You’ll be the talk of the neighborhood. I have a few friends that would make these. I sure hope I get an invitation to their house after they are done!
Don’t throw away all those coffee creamer bottles after you have finished them. Use them to make these adorable snowmen. You could fill them with something to give as a gift. Maybe candy or some home made eggnog, or just put them on the mantle to make everyone smile. Easy enough to make, don’t you think?
Pretty simple. Print out these adorable labels and fill up a small snack size zip lock bag with miniature marshmallows. Great gag gift as a stocking stuffer.
You can also do reindeer poop and use malted milk balls or chocolate covered raisins. (giggle)
