The Young Professionals of Lawton begin this week with their very first day of service event for 2018. Members of the YP Lawton organization make it a point to go above and beyond to volunteer their time, effort and expertise to Lawton/Ft. Sill; and this year is no different. The fact that they chose to hold their first day of giving on the same day we celebrate the life and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is not only a highly admirable way to commemorate the legacy of a man who gave so much of himself to humanity; but it is also a great way to give back to this community.
If one of your resolutions for the new year is to give back to the community in which you live, then the Young Professionals of Lawton MLK Day of Service is the perfect opportunity for you to do so.
Hope to see you there.
