On August 12, 2016, Operation FINALLY HOME, local builder Hawkins Custom Homes and City National Bank surprised U.S. Army Sgt. Tomas Garcia Jr., along with his wife Candace, and their two daughters, Claudia and Victoria, with the news that they will be receiving a mortgage-free, custom built home in Lawton.

Dan Wallrath, founder of Operation FINALLY HOME, Colin Hawkins of Hawkins Custom Homes and Paul Ellwanger from City National Bank presented a symbolic key to the family during military appreciation night at the Lawton Rangers Rodeo as nearly 8,000 rodeo fans witnessed this inspirational and patriotic announcement. The presentation was in conjunction with a check presentation to The Military Order of the Purple Heart, whose mission is to give back to veterans and their families, by the Lawton Rangers.

The ground breaking for this new home happens tomorrow morning at 9am at the future home of the Garcia's in the Dove Creek Addition, 5415 SW Treavor Circle.

Operation FINALLY HOME is dedicated to providing custom-built homes for America's military heroes who have sacrificed so much in the defense of our freedoms and values.
