With roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Greatest Showman, Zendaya has become a bonafide star but the actress has never forgotten about her Disney roots.

The star of the Disney Channel's K.C. Undercover since its premiere in 2015, Zendaya's time on the show has come to an end and so has her time on the network. On Friday, Disney Channel aired the final episode of K.C. Undercover and the actress broke the sad news on Twitter. "Tonight is the last episode of KC, and therefore my last episode on Disney channel....," she tweeted.

While Zendaya's time on K.C. Undercover is up, the actress quickly reminded fans that the show will still continue to air thanks to re-runs. "Relax...there's still re-runs," she tweeted.

Up next for the 21-year-old, she has been tapped to produce and star in the upcoming psychological thriller A White Lie. An adaptation of Karin Tanabe's The Gilded Years novel, Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter are also set to produce the project.

"Monica, Zendaya, Lauren and Reese have developed a bold and original approach to Anita's story that explores complex and timely themes in a way that is sure to thrill audiences," Hannah Minghella, president of TriStar Pictures, said in a statement Wednesday.

"We are excited to make this movie alongside a dream team of extraordinary women who have inspired Reese and me from the moment we all came together," added Neustadter. "TriStar's passion for telling this story makes them the ideal partner for this project."
