Meet Local Authors at Lawton Farmers Market This Weekend
Oklahoma is home to many talented authors! This weekend the Lawton Public Library is hosting the 2024 Books & Brew Local Author Festival at the Lawton Farmers Markets. Attendees will be able to meet local authors, purchase their books and have them autographed!
The festival will also be concurrent with the weekly Lawton Farmers Market featuring goods from local farmers, bakers, gardeners, crafters and more. The festival and the farmers market will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Lawton Farmers Market building, located at 77 SW 4th Street in downtown Lawton.
The Books & Brew Local Author Festival will feature 16 authors.
The Lawton Public Library handpicked 16 local authors that will be at the Books & Brew Local Author Festival. The authors will have their books with them available for purchase and to autograph. The books will vary from several different genres.
