One of the best things about springtime in Oklahoma is not just the warmer weather, but also all of the state's spring festivals. One of the biggest festivals in Oklahoma is the annual Festival of the Arts, which takes place in downtown Oklahoma City.

This year, the annual Festival of the Arts is slated for April 24-27. This year will be the 59th annual Festival of the Arts. The annual festival is hosted by Arts Council Oklahoma City. Each year the festival celebrates the visual and performing arts. The festival hosts artists, craft and food booths, along with multiple stages for performing in Oklahoma City's Bicentennial Park.

This year's Festival of the Arts is presented by MidFirst Bank, Gardner Tanenbaum and the Inasmuch Foundation.

Unique Things to Do in Oklahoma City

There is no shortage of things to do in OKC. While there are a handful of things everyone knows about--OKC Zoo, Myriad Gardens, Bricktown, etc-- there are even more lesser-known places to experience one-of-a-kind Oklahomaness. Some things cost a little money, others are completely free, but it's all fun for the whole family.
