
Fireworks Stands Are Now Open In Oklahoma
The Fourth of July is coming up soon, and Oklahoma residents will soon be visiting roadside fireworks stands! This past week, Oklahomans may have seen trucks hauling those wooden sheds that sell sparklers, Black Cats and more, as fireworks stands across the state are getting ready to open for the season.
According to Oklahoma state law, fireworks can only be sold in Oklahoma during the summer from June 15 through July 6. So local fireworks stands should be opening sometime this week! Some people like to get their fireworks early, while others wait till the last minute - but that can be more cost-effective as some fireworks stands may have sales or specials as it get closer to July 4.

But if residents are within a city's limits, they will want to check local city guidelines and ordinances. Some cities in Oklahoma may not allow any kind of fireworks within city limits, so it's best to check with local city officials before planning on setting off any fireworks.
